John LewisWILLIAMSPeacefully on Thursday 5th of June 2025 at Leighton hospital, Crewe aged 79 years.

John of Nantwich, Cheshire, formerly of Cwrtnewydd, a devoted husband of Mo, Beloved father of Maria, Glen, Vikki and Kate, a devoted grandfather, cherished cousin and a friend to many.

A Private funeral service will be held at Gorwel Funeral Home, Lampeter on Friday 27th of June 2025 followed by a private interment at Llwynrhydowen Chapel, Rhydowen. Friends and family are welcome to join for a drink at the Castle Green, Lampeter, from 3pm onwards.

I had been messaging John in recent weeks to pop over for tea and was so sorry to hear of his death as I would have liked to have paid my respects. He was always good to talk to and very knowledgeable about all aspects of numismatics and could always spare time for a fellow enthusiast. Rest in peace John, you will be missed.
